1. Confidentiality
We treat your conversations as confidential and do not sell them or use them for advertising. They are shared only with the service providers needed to operate the platform (listed in section 5), or where required by law. Because responses are AI-generated, communications on this platform may not be protected by attorney-client privilege; avoid sharing information you would not want disclosed.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide legal services:
- Contact information (name, email, phone — optional)
- Jurisdiction information (country, state/province)
- User type (individual or business)
- Legal matter descriptions and consultation messages
- Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Usage data (browser type, pages visited — anonymized)
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Route you to the most appropriate specialist legal team
- Provide personalized, jurisdiction-specific legal guidance
- Process payments for consultation services
- Send consultation summaries to your email (if provided)
- Improve the platform's AI routing and legal research capabilities
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4. Data Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and stored with managed cloud providers. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. AI Processing & Data Retention
Your messages are processed by an AI service (Anthropic) to route you to a practice area team and generate responses. Conversations are stored in our database (hosted with a managed PostgreSQL provider) so you can return to them, and are kept until you ask us to delete them. Request deletion at any time by emailing legal@allegiantlegal.group.
We do not use your consultation data to train external AI models. Consultation content is never used for marketing or sold to third parties.
6. International Data Transfers
Our providers (Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel and our database host) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data we hold
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Cookies
We store a random session token in your browser's local storage to restore your conversation, and a record of your cookie preference. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy-friendly page-view statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.
